Discovery in the Garden 2010

Discovery in the Garden Tours are self guided tours. Tickets unfold to show a map of the garden tour area, and directional signs are out on June 4th to assist visitors in locating the gardens. The Discovery in the Garden Junior Committee
was established in 2004, as an opportunity for science and nature-loving children to become involved in the signature fundraiser for The Discovery Museum. The children quickly became an important and well-loved part of the Tour, serving an important function in helping at the boutiques and luncheon on the grounds of the Trinity Church in Southport. In their distinctive green aprons, emblazoned with “Discovery in the Garden Junior Committee,” they add a splash of color, youth and charm to the delightful day.
