Each year, this special tour offers guests the rare opportunity to experience the glories of several exquisite, private gardens in historic Southport Village and Fairfield. Designed to inspire garden lovers with ideas to incorporate into their own gardens, this highly anticipated event, considered the region’s premier tour, appeals to history and architecture enthusiasts as well as those who simply appreciate the beauty of garden settings.
On Friday and Saturday June 3 and 4, 2011 you will be able to walk through and experience the beauty of these spectacular private home and estate gardens. At no other time will you have an opportunity to view these beautiful and very private gardens up close and personal while they are in full bloom and at their peak!
Thursday, June 2 - Discovery in the Garden Gala Cocktail Party
An elegant, catered affair on the grounds of a stunning Greenfield Hill estate. Our much anticipated cocktail party will feature live music, and both silent and live auctions. Join us from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for socializing and fun at this special fund raising event.
Friday, June 3 - Garden Tours, Gourmet Seated Luncheon, Boutique
Tour the gardens from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. then relax at our catered "Luncheon Under the Tent" on the grounds of the Greenfield Hill Congregational Church. Enjoy delicious wraps, salads, beverages and cookies from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Limited tickets available. Shop at our elegant Outdoor Boutique on the grounds of Greenfield Hill Congregational Church at 1045 Old Academy Rd., Fairfield, CT. The Boutique will feature distinctive one-of-a-kind goods from local artisans. 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 4 - Garden Tours and Boutique
On Saturday the tour will be from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. You may shop at our boutique until 3 p.m. and enjoy an informal lunch on Greenfield Hill. Food vendors will be there to provide drinks and a quick bite to eat.
